A room with a view

Sound the trumpet call!  Somehow I managed to make the time to post new pictures for three days in a row.  That is SOME kind of record, for me at least.  Anyway, here is one I shot while staying at my buddy’s house in Hamburg, Germany.  That’s my wife there on the Mac, by the way.  Decided to play around with the camera to see what settings I liked best for shooting indoor HDRs.  Turns out I liked the 7 exposures option the best, all shot at 1 stop increments.  However, instead of starting with a average exposure, I dialed in a +1 exp comp as the base shot, with the additional 6 frames bracketed around the +1 exp comp.  I then dialed in a +2 exp comp for the average exposure for my next bracket set, and liked that set the best.  Here is the final image once I brought the images through Lightroom, Photomatix and Photoshop.
