The Long Walk

I took the day off from work yesterday to shoot some HDRs at Beelitz-Heilstätten (abandoned sanitorium) and at the Kaserne Krampnitz (former WWII German Panzer Training Facility and also a former post WWII USSR military base).  Came away with some images that I thought were worth sharing.  Here is one from the halls of the sanitorium.  I was the only one there at the time, so it was a little creepy feeling.  Good thing I had my trusty flashlight!!

  1. Amazing detail. I envy that detail, haven’t been able to get something like that going on mine.

    • Hi Martin. Thank you for the kind comments. Getting the detail is not hard at all. It starts with shooting a clean image on a tripod, followed by a good post processing routine in Photoshop with the right filters applied judiciously and selectively.
